Debbie is the longest serving employee (outside the Partners) with over ten years service with AXIS.

She is very experienced with corporate clients and also product providers, with a reputation for exemplary service throughout the AXIS client base. If you are ever unsure who to speak to, Debbie is sure to be your first point of contact with AXIS.

Steph has proved herself to be indispensable as one of our most experienced Administrators and even finds time to study for the Diploma in Financial Planning.

Equally busy outside of work, Steph is a youth leader and an event co-ordinator for FIRE Youth Ministry; and Mission Administrator for Warnbro Church of Christ. Steph’s creative skills are further illustrated in dressmaking and ballroom dancing.
 

Mia is very much the quiet achiever and brings a wealth of experience in dealing with other employers as clients and also as a line manager within a fast moving consumer environment. She is a very effective organiser with a long career in delivering quality service to clients. At one time Mia did intend to complete a sociology degree but decided on a career change two years into her course. She will shortly commence studying for her diploma in financial management and will continue to build on her successes, quietly as always.

As a contradiction to Mia’s success in her career, Mia has adopted Carlton as her footy team, a commitment she made to her husband early in their marriage. In her free time, Mia says she loves any excuse to organise a party with her friends. She did add that if she was waiting on Carlton’s success before celebrating with a party, she might find herself waiting too long.
 

Josh has long experience in sales and client servicing across a range of industries. In his previous position with a stockbroking company, he commenced training for his Diploma in Financial Planning and sees himself one day as a CFP. Throughout his life, he has enjoyed roles in public speaking and leadership, with prizes at home to prove his capability.

He is absolutely passionate about fishing, mountain biking, camping and enjoying life with family and friends. Josh excels at everything he does, just with his terrific enthusiasm! So much so, I am sure fish just throw themselves up on the beach for him.
 

Leigh has joined us on as a Claims Administrator. Her previous roles included positions such as Administration support for AMP Agency in Northam; being the voice behind “Wendy” for Western Underwriters and then, to be totally different, working in Broome for a family business buying and retailing pearls.

Over the last 10 years Leigh has been kept busy looking after a husband and two daughters, including the usual school and sporting commitments, plus work on various parent/teacher committees.

In her spare time, Leigh enjoys reading, gardening and doing anything with her family.
 

Ellen has actually said that she is so happy to have joined AXIS Financial Group, as she has never worked with a company before that is so staff orientated: she added that she feels very welcome and involved.

While born in Germany, Ellen came to Australia when she was three years old but considers herself as very much an Aussie now. Ellen has in-depth administrative experience in a number of different industries and will continue to excel in her role in AXIS.

Ellen’s interests outside of work centre on dancing (very energetically with jive and Rock’n’Roll), gardening (mad keen apparently!) and socialising with family and friends. Needless to say, Ellen barracks for the Dockers, which probably explains her final passion for travelling. Ellen has travelled extensively throughout Europe and arguably as far away from AFL results as she can!
 

Given that she began work in a book store while still at school, a position she held for six years, Shannon clearly likes work and lots of interaction with people. Now (again noticing the hard work ethic), Shannon has herself perfectly organised in dealing with AXIS clients during the day, while spending her evenings and weekends studying for her Bachelor of Commerce (with a major in Financial Planning) at Curtin University. With such dedication, Shannon will go far in her chosen career!

You might wonder whether Shannon has any free time, but she does enjoy attending rock concerts with friends and also emphasizes she looooves shopping. She has even found time to develop her skills as a dancer!
 

Jo comes to AXIS Financial Group as an experienced Administrative Assistant, after previously being a junior administrative assistant for Plan B.

Outside of the office, you will find Jo down her local pub with her friends, playing in her regular netball team or just relaxing with her favourite music. One of Jo’s other passions is cheering for her football team the Fremantle Dockers.
